Beelzeapork

This ferocious beast is the foe of none other than the mighty, four-armed warriors of Khoros, the Tetramands and, to a lesser extent, Four Arms! Now I know what you're thinking: doesn't Four Arms already have a predator, those Sand Ripper thingies that are a reference to the Tremor series? And my answer to you is yes, yes he does. Unfortunately, as cool as they were, their DNA was not sampled by the Nemetrix as far as we know and, to my knowledge, they will not be reintroduced in the Ben 10 Reboot project manned by TheWalrusclown . Or will at least be another vicious predator to stalk the windswept dunes of Khoros.

But enough my blabbering. Onto the information about this beautiful bugger!

Prey: Omnivorous, but prefers Ziboson and Tetramands (Four Arms species)

Powers/abilities: The most notable features of Beelzeapork are both its immense size and strength. It's easily twice the size of an African bull elephant and about ten times as strong, making it more than a formidable match for a lonely Tetramand that finds themselves stranded out on the scorching dunes of Khoros.

The soles and hooves of the Rinochoerosus' feet are very thick and padded, giving them both the ability to withstand searing hot temperatures that would fry the feet of any species not native to Khoros and sneak up on its prey (assuming that they don't see it first, that is).

Thanks to the vents that open up behind each of its first four legs and from the fleshy spikes upon its back and shoulders, Beelzeapork has great endurance and can run for great distances to keep up with fleeing prey due to the biological ventilation system they've evolved over millions of years to help combat against Khoros intense temperatures; Rinochoerosus also get all the water they ever need from their food.

Beelzeapork's skin is quite durable and can take multiple shots from the sonic-claps that Tetramands might employ in defense.

Beelzeapork possesses sharp horns and tusks, which it can use to gore its prey and wound them.

Beelzeapork's flexible tail is tipped with a crushing, mace-like growth that can easily shatter the reinforced bones of a Tetramand with a well placed hit.

Due to the fact that they hunt mostly at night, when temperatures are cooler and more tolerable, Rinochorerosus have incredible night vision and are rumored to be able to see heat signatures; this has yet to be proven as no one has exactly lived to find out for certain.

Weaknesses: The horns of Rinochorerosus give it an immense blindspot directly in front of its face, making it impossible for Beelzeaprk to see anything directly in front of it. Even if it can smell you, it won't charge unless it knows exactly where you are. the horns and tusks can also be grabbed to tire out the beast as it tries to buck any intruder off.

Beelzeapork can easily be overwhelmed by superior numbers, given those numbers have great strength to hold it in place and defeat it. This is primarily why they hunt lone Tetramands that find themselves out in the wastes of their desert home.

Beelzeapork has little to no intelligence and can be quite easily tricked, especially if there's food involved. Given the opportunity to eat several tons of fresh meat or a chained Tetramand, the Beelzeapork will always eagerly go after the meat . . . after killing the Tetramand that is. They may not be very bright, but Rinochorerosus understand the concept of sharing and like most predators, are not very keen on the idea, even if it's their prey that might try to steal some of their meal!

Grabbing Beelzeapork by the tail, while in itself is a danger, is the safest way to defeat one. Its lethal jaws combined with its short neck and tail make it impossible for it to reach any would-be attackers that assault it from its backside.

Trivia: Beelzeapork is inspired by the Entelodont, a prehistoric mammal from the Cenozoic era whose nicknames include "Terminator Pig" and "The Pig from Hell". Other inspirations include rhinoceros beetles, elephants, rhinoceros, and Triceratops.

The scientific name derives from the Latin words for "rhinoceros" and "pig".

Despite being their natural predators, Tetramands actually have a decent amount of respect (as well as hatred) for Rinochorerosus and as such, they have a decent sized staple in Tetramand culture. The most common tradition is to send out a group of coming-to-age Tetramands to hunt and kill a Rinochorerosus and bring back the head and tail if the whole body cannot be dragged back for proof that they are ready to ascend to adulthood; the tusks and horns are then usually made into necklaces and medals show off their pride and female Tetramands that participate in these hunts are highly sought after by males, as this proves they are fit and strong.

This is also where the tradition of the Tetramand marriage arose from. If male Tetramands were capable of defeating their chosen bride, much like they would have to defeat their chosen Rinochorerosus to ascend to adulthood, they would have their bride's hand in marriage. Oddly enough, the females don't find this to be a complimenting comparison. Go figure.
